Presentation Recording FAQ


Q1. How long do I have to record?

Each paper presentation should be 20 minutes in duration.  The zoom session will have a maximum duration of 30 minutes and a maximum recording duration of 22 minutes.

Q2. How many presentations can I record?

Each paper can have at most a total of 5 recordings, made by the first author or a co-author.  Recordings may be deleted to make space for new ones.  You can only delete your own recording, not a recording made by a co-author.

Q3. Can co-authors record presentations?

Yes, either the first author or any co-author may record the paper presentation.

Q4. Why can't I delete my co-authors presentation?

Each author can only delete their own presentations.

Q5. Why does my video still say Waiting?

If you just recorded your video, its being rendered.  Please wait a few minutes for the rendering to take place.  You may have to refresh you page to see the rendering.

Q6. Why does nothing happen when I click “Add new video presentation" ?

Make sure that your browser allows pop-up windows to open from the AeroConf page.

Q7. Why is Zoom telling me that my e-mail sign in is disabled?

You may be using a recent, but not latest version of Zoom.  Uninstall Zoom and reinstall it from the Zoom website.

Q8. Why is Zoom asking me for a meeting ID number or personal link name?

You may be using a recent, but not latest version of Zoom.  Uninstall Zoom and reinstall it from the Zoom website.
